Matti is the more inquisitive of the two. He is the
first to investigate most everything. He's also the more trusting one.
I have convinced him to sit on my lap voluntarily for two minutes (once),
something I haven't convinced Martin to do yet.
|
Martin seems to be more self contained of the pair,
but I think it's all an act. He loves to be petted and purrs loudly when
scratched behind his ears. They both have collars with a bell, which I
have taken off, but when I tried to put them back on, Martin put up quite
a fight.

Matti plays the most. He's obviously practiced the most
at compensating for having no front claws (I had NOTHING to do with that,
I swear). When he catches the "bird" (toy on the end of a fishing
pole thing) he sits on it with his chest, so it's harder to get away from
him. Martin's favorite toy is a fuzzy little ball that he chases and carries
around in his mouth..

One of thier favorite things to do is sit in the window
sill and look out. I always look for thier faces in the front window.
I sometimes can't believe how excited I am to come home and see them.
I'm a bit irritated that Martin's being so skittish about the collar,
but oh well. Heeheehee. I just remembered that Strider, my sister's dog
will be coming to stay next week. That should be interesting. [heh heh
heh!]
